Join us on Saturday, May 2, for the 15th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. With your help, we aim to reach new communities, engage new volunteers, and restore additional stretches of shoreline in the Hudson River watershed.
Last May, we worked at 114 locations, and we can’t wait to do it again. Join us this year and be part of a community movement to clean and restore our waters and the places we call home.
Here's how to get involved:
Volunteer. Interested in pitching in? Register at any one of sites listed below.
Be a sponsor. Do you own a business interested in helping restore the Hudson River? Email me at katiel@riverkeeper.org for more information about sponsoring Riverkeeper Sweep.
Over the last fourteen years of Sweep, with your help we have completed 1,463 service projects, bringing together thousands of volunteers across NYC and the Hudson Valley to clean up 396 tons of debris, and plant or maintain 11,240 native plants. This incredible effort is made possible by the generosity of our members, sponsors, and supporters. If you would like to support the continued growth of the Riverkeeper Sweep, please consider making a donation — every contribution helps protect and restore the river.
For general questions about Sweep please contact Katie Leung at katiel@riverkeeper.org.

RIVERKEEPER SWEEP X I LOVE MY PARK DAY
For a second year in a row, Riverkeeper and Parks & Trails NY (PTNY) are joining forces to strengthen the impact of both the Riverkeeper Sweep and I Love My Park Day at a number of project locations on May 2. Through this partnership, we aim to reach wider audiences throughout the Hudson River Watershed, highlight the connection between our parks and the health of the Hudson River and its tributaries, and strengthen community stewardship in a single, unified day of service.
